1.8 (alpha) works on my Mimo UM-710. Thanks a million!
Note: I had to run the uninstaller then the installer to get it to work. Just running the installer (without the uninstaller removing the old 1.7 code) corrected the blue screen lockouts, but did not give me full functionality. I would be able to boot just fine but the UM-710 did not work. Uninstall then reinstall fixed that and now everything is fully functional. |
1.8 fixes my MacBook Pro 2009 - Lion issue
I don't have a rotated display, but the Version: 1.8a1 (36844) alpha update now allows my 3rd monitor to be used. Previously, all I got was a black screen that flickered.
Thanks Carlo for your teams hard work! :):):) My setup: MacBook Pro 17-inch, Mid 2009 OS 10.7.3 Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,2 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 2 L2 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 4 GB |
1.8 Alpha 1 works on my iMac 27 (Mid 2010)
I was using a rotated display with 1200x1920 resolution on my iMac 27 until I updated to OS X 10.7.3. By updating DisplayLink graphics software to 1.8 Alpha 1 I was able to reactivate the rotated display again :-).
Thanks alot for the update!!! My config: iMac 27 (Mid 2010) OS X 10.7.3 Cinema Display 27" on display port Samsung SyncMaster 2443 rotated via USB BVU195. |
Works great
I finally got around to updating to 10.7.3 and made sure I had plenty of backups beforehand. I uninstalled the old display link driver before the upgrade, and then installed the new alpha driver afterwards. Everything is working great on my two rotated display link screens. Thanks guys for the driver.
