DL won't run two displays (HDMI) on my MacBook Pro M1
My MacBook Pro M1 running Mac OS 12.0.1 downloads DisplayLink Manager Graphics Connectivity BETA
Monterey 12, Big Sur 11 Release: 1.6 BETA | Nov 26, 2021 but will not load the or start this extension. Disks work through the Lention USB-C Ultra 5k Universal Docking station but doesn't allow any external monitor to work. How do I fix this? |
I downgraded to Legacy Driver 5.2.6 with Intel MacBook running Monterey and everything is working again. Clamshell mode works, user profile switching works, extended login screen works. Until the DL Manager is upgraded I will be staying with the legacy USB driver (or until it no longer works).

Any update on this? Will there be a new display link software for Monterey?

You need Version 1.6 DL. 1.5 doesn't work with Monterey. Look in Release Notes of 1.5 its written supports macOS 10.15.x and 11.x and Monterey 12 Beta not the Official Version.
I'm currently on 12.1 with DL 1.6 works like a charm. |
