Hello,
This issue will be addressed in driver 1.6.1 which will be released in March. If you wish to be informed of new driver releases please sign up for notifications. Thank you, Katarzyna |
sometime it works
After installing 1.6.1 including a restart it works as it should. But after a few weeks it stops working again. Have to do a restart and works again. So something still happening in the background!

How the two monitors are connected exactly? Have you had a chance to test driver 1.7 with your setup and did you update your OS to even higher version that one mentioned above? Thank you, Katarzyna |
Problem still occurring

I am still having this problem Cannot click on desktop icons when using "hot corners" show desktop option. I am using an M1 MacBook Pro, WavLink USB 3.0 display adapter, and DisplayLink Manager 1.7.1 (Build 60.129). Edited: As others have noted, downgrading to Displaylink Manager 1.5 solves this problem. |
I specifically registered to this forum for this and I can confirm that this bug still persists in the 1.7.1 version. I downgraded to 1.5 and this fixes the issue.
I have two Dell monitors on my mac mini m1 (one via HDMI, the other via USB-C to Displayport) and a 1080p AOC monitor over a Startech USB3.0 to Dual Displayport Mini Docking Station 4K GBE |

Instructions how to do it are here: How To Report MacOS Issues To DisplayLink It is best that the logfiles are gathered when DisplayLink Manager 1.7.1 is installed and you have confirmed that it still does not work in this version of the driver. Thank you. |
