Macbook Pro (2020) Big Sur 11.3
hello all,
i upgraded my Mac to the MacBook Pro 2020 with Big Sur 11.3. now that i did this with the new MAC i cannot close the lid to keep my monitors on. i use to be able to do clamshell with my old MAC but now i cant with the new one. has anyone had the same issue and know of a fix? thanks |
I'm also having the same problem. I updated to Big Sur 11.3.1 and no longer able to clamshell mode. I have dual screen setup and able to clamshell before the update. I noticed closing the lid under Diplay settings the actual macbook screen still shows as active screen and also all my monitors flicker every few seconds. Hopefully there's alternate solutions to go back to clamshell mode on Macbook. Thanks

Mac OS Big Sur 11.3
I updated mac os big sur 11.3
The QGeeM hub arrived today, it doesn't work. Do not detect the monitors using the DisplayLink software. I did the test on Windows and it worked. Do you have a software update forecast? |
Update
I had the same problem so I switched from using display port back to HDMI and it worked in mirror mode with my laptop closed
