Non Beta + 64bit Version Poll

DisplayLink seem to have missed Apple's release announcement for OSX 10.6.

Do you need support for 10.6 / 32 or 64bit versions?

**NOTE: this is just a poll, please keep 64bit driver version discussion going on in the original thread.

For what it's worth, I'd really like to have 64bit Snow Leopard support so that I can actually use my USB monitor.

iMo Pivot Touch - NO 64-bit SL support YET

"iMo Pivot Touch is perfect and coming soon to a desktop near you!
Note to Mac OS X users: all driver software is included with purchase of
this monitor, no need for additional software driver purchases!

This is NOT true.

Disappointed in lack of 10.6 support

I purchased a DisplayLink adapter from OWC today, and am very disappointed that it does not seem to work with my new MacBook Pro, which comes with Snow Leopard. It seems disingenuous that there was no notice of a lack of 10.6 support on the OWC site.

Please, when will a 64-bit 10.6 compatible version of your software be available? If it's going to be more than a month from now I'll send the device back.

I am loosing patience with waiting for a driver that was suppose to be out before year end. Displaylink failed to even deliver a 32bit working version of the driver.

I'm guessing the company is fully engaged with Windows drivers and could really care less about MAC users. I'm giving them one more month before I turf the USB cables on my monitors in exchange for two more video cards for my Mac Pro.

If they come out with a 64bit Stable driver that works, I'll eat my hat, shorts, and maybe even socks. I'm not holding my breath though.

It's worth noting that Seb hasn't logged into these forums since "12-05-2009, 06:59 PM".

He hasn't posted anything since "11-10-2009, 02:02 AM".

Given that he is the only DisplayLink point of contact on these forums, it seems like this community has been abandoned.

I am really frustrated on this. Cmon Displaylink, get your act together. One of the only few remaining guys, who cannot get their 64-bit OS X act together. Developers, wake up !

I'm another one adding my request for a Snow Leopard compatible driver. There is a need here DisplayLink. Please put some resources in to 64 bit OS X driver development.

64-bit OSX drivers - 10.6.2 drivers would be much appreciated

64 bit is badly needed

64 bit for Snow Leopard is badly needed. The longer it takes provides time for companies like Apple to design and develop their own usb video....that would mean the end of the Apple market....but maybe that doesn't matter?
