DisplayLink 1.7, 1.8, 2.0 on OSX 10.6.8
 

My Diamond BVU195 adapter arrived yesterday.

Comments on DisplayLink 1.7 and 2.0:
Browsing the web while connected via wireless is painfully slow when the 3rd monitor is initialized. Not only on my computer, but any computer on my network. When I unplug the Diamond BVU195, browsing the web immediately speeds up to normal.

Browsing the web while hard wired into the router just fine when the 3rd monitor is initialized. However any other computer connecting to my router wirelessly is not able to browse the web at all.

This is an interesting phenomenon.

Has anyone been able to overcome this problem above? Will upgrading to the latest and greatest version of OS X solve this issue?

DisplayLink 1.8: errors out when trying to install.
