Screen Resolution issues

Hi,
I have a ALogic Universal Twin HD Pro Dock that I use for work & home using both Windows & Mac laptops. The dock is connected through HDMI to 2 X Samsung LC34G55TWWEXXY Gaming Monitors that have 3440 x 1440 Screen Res but cannot achieve the screen res which distorts the windows & mac software used. Best Screen Res Windows (2048 x 1152) & Mac (2560 x 1440). I have tried Betterme app to try and improve on the Mac but wont give any better screen res options. Is there anything you can suggest as am about to lose my shit and break the screens! Running Sonoma 14 (Mac) Windows 10 (Dell) laptops.

Regards
Doug

Hello Doug,

The dock is a dual HD dock. HD in that context is 1920x1080.
The DL-3900 chip inside, on HDMI, can go up to 2048x1152 @ 60Hz or 2560x1140 @ 50Hz (https://support.displaylink.com/know...rticles/525038)

Your dock hardware isn't powerful enough to drive this higher resolution.
To drive these two 3440x1440 displays, you need a dock using our 4K chip, DL-6950.
Here are a few products we have tested using our chips. You can select 2 displays and 4K in the drop down to narrow down. Other models exists.

Regards,
Alban
