Hi,
I just upgraded my system from Ubuntu 16.10 to Ubuntu 17.10, uninstalled and reinstalled last version of the driver but the screen connected on my DisplayLink D1000 USB3.0 is not working anymore.

I've attached here the report from the Linux tool as suggested.

Thank you for the support!

The service is correctly running as I can see it here:
Code:

● dlm.service - DisplayLink Manager Service
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/dlm.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: active (running) since Thu 2018-01-11 17:20:54 CET; 15min ago
  Process: 1128 ExecStartPre=/bin/sh -c modprobe evdi || (dkms install evdi/4.1.9 && modprobe evdi) (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
 Main PID: 1131 (DisplayLinkMana)
    Tasks: 33 (limit: 4915)
  Memory: 22.5M
      CPU: 3.133s
  CGroup: /system.slice/dlm.service
          └─1131 /opt/displaylink/DisplayLinkManager

I think that something is wrong on this part of dmesg:
Code:

I'm very frustated because I can't get it work as before and I cannot use the external monitor anymore :(

I just discovered that if I disconnect the USB dock and then I restart Ubuntu then I login and I reconnect the USB after a few seconds, it works! It's very weird!

You are welcome! I'm using this trick in order to use my 3rd monitor correctly but it's very very annoying.
