Does not work with Firefox 4 or videos

When running Firefox 4 with Direct2D enabled, I am unable to see anything in Firefox 4. I cannot modify it also to disable Direct2D.

This was fixed in version 5.6. I think DisplayLink now processes the video on the installed graphic card and outputs it to the display somehow. That's what it seems like at least.

Firefox 4.0 and DisplayLink

Just a note that I also experience the same problem trying to run Firefox v4 on a displaylink connected monitor. Firefox would open but nothing would display or respond. Moving it to a vga or hdmi connected monitor would result in Firefox displaing properly. My system is window 7x64, Nvidia GForce GT320M, Aero disabled.

I upgraded to v 5.6.31548 as suggested but this did not help in my case. However, when I opened Firefox and disabled hardware acceleration everything started working fine.

Hope this may help somebody.

I began having issues again after a reboot and after plugging in another DisplayLink unit. I do not know what's wrong

I restarted, and it's working again for some reason. I have absolutely no clue what's causing this. I run in Windows Classic mode.

I tried on my Netbook using a USB to DVI adapter with a DVI to HDMI adapter and while Firefox 4 works, no matter what I tried, I couldn't get videos to work. I tried many different things but it just wouldn't push over the video. I figure it has something to do with the Intel Integrated graphics on this. I've got a Dell Mini 9 running 32-bit Windows 7.
