I do have the nvidia driver installed but not in use and am experiencing the same issues. Which would indicate a finger pointing situation between displaylink and nvidia. Why can you guys just not accept the fact that your driver on linux is not working properly???

hI, you know that I have exactly the same problem so what is the fix?

Same problem here with Ubuntu 18.04. Would be great if anyone had a solution...
