Dell Docking Station D3100 unreliable
 

Hello, we have a Dell Displaylink Docking Station D3100 and when I connect it to our Dell Latitude 3380 it initially works, but after a few times unconnecting and reconnecting it it stops working and we get no video out of the dock's HDMI port. Just for testing, I plugged the dock into a nearby desktop and it worked fine every time. Also, it seems if I have something plugged into the laptop HDMI port, it also works fine every time. Not sure if this might be related to the native resolution of the laptop (1366 x 768) whereas the desktop native resolution was 1920 x 1080. Has anyone experienced something like this?
