StarTech USB3DDOCKFT & ultrawide monitor - resolution issues
 

Hi there,
I've got a StarTech USB3DDOCKFT with a 43" ASUS monitor (3840x1200), using a 2018 Macbook Pro with Monterey 12.0.1

The best resolution I can get is 2560x1080 for some reason (so it is looking very stretched hence the different ratio), even though everything is installed and set up the way it should. It was working perfectly before I've installed the DisplayLink app/driver, now I can't see those options, even if I disconnect from the dock and try to use my monitor like I used to.
Any help is greatly appreciated, it is very frustrating as I've spent a lot of money on this setup and now it feels like I went back 20 years in my setup.
