Given up on Mavericks and Video support

I called Kensington this morning and the guy on the phone acted like I had a defective dock. I pointed him to the article about Mavericks and Kensington blaming Apple for the issues. I gave up on Video, I ended up plugging into the display port but there's yet another thing defeating the purpose of buying the dock. I looked into the Belkin Thunderbolt dock but it's just as horrible and costs almost $150.00 more. Unbelievable.

Why post a beta driver that does nothing? The video performance is still realllllllly laggy.

The beta driver added "initial support" for Mavericks, yes performance is awful but it means you're not getting kernel panics just from using it, etc.

The upcoming driver on November 5th should apparently fix the lag.
A beta driver is just that - pre-release software. If you already knew about the issues before upgrading, why didn't you wait until DisplayLink had provided a "final" driver for Mavericks?

The BETA driver does nothing more than the standard driver, it's equally as laggy, so I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't use the BETA driver. I used the standard one and when it sucked, I tried the beta. It sucks too.

And you're wrong about the Nov 5th driver.

"Unfortunately there are OS X regressions in 10.9 that affect the API we use to add additional displays on OS X. These have been raised with Apple for months, but have not been fixed before the first release of OS X 10.9. We have tried to find work arounds, but unfortunately there is only one API to add USB displays to OS X so we have no solutions to fix the issues in our driver."

Gee and yet the new driver released (early) on the 1st November fixed the lag, imagine that?

Maybe if you'd actually read both links provided instead of just saying no you're wrong (clearly without bothering to) you'd have seen the developers stating the new driver should fix the lag - and it did.
