Monitor not detected
I have a Dell 7390 connected to the D6000 docking station. I have an HP monitor connected through HDMI and a Dell monitor connected through Display Port. The laptop detects the HP monitor but not the Dell monitor. Currently it recognizes the 7390 as one display and the HP monitor as the second display. The D6000 says it should support 3 displays with the USB-C connection.
I have installed the latest drivers. I've tried rebooting. I used the HDMI for the Dell monitor and it did not recognize it with that either... Help please! |
Same issue
I have the same issue.
HP Omen X 35 connected to displayport, Dell U2414H to HDMI. HP not recognised, Dell (HDMI) is. I also have a D3100 and the same monitors in the same connectors work fine on that. I believe this is the same issue as D6000 Dock, Displayport not working issue |
Update on this
After swapping the connections the other way round it sprung to life. So the HDMI to the HP Omen monitor and the DP to the Dell monitor works ok.
It seems that for some reason there is an incompatibility in the D6000 DP connection to my HP Omen X 35. My D3100 DP connection to the same monitor works fine. A little strange I would say. |
Same issue
Same issue for Asus PG348Q, 3440x1440@100Hz. I cannot get my monitor work through DP by D6000. Are there updates on that issue?

Hello houtj1990,
Simply install 9.3 Beta or newer from: https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/windows From what we've seen with the protocol analyzer, the display would not following the DisplayPort spec (far from it). We have however found a way to make it work without jeopardizing our compliance to the standard. Kind regards, Alban |

I have a combination of Dell D6000 and a Dell S2717DG (G-Sync) monitor which is not working via Displayport. Windows fails to detect the monitor on the Display Port link but works fine (though at 60hz) via HDMI. I;ve installed the 9.3 beta 1 drivers and updated the D6000 firmware but no luck. Any thoughts? Thanks |
Hello Niels,
We have tested and also received external positive feedback on the Dell S2716DG. Would you please be able to gather the logs with our tool and share? Only employees can download attachments from the forums, and the steps with tools is listed in the last link of my forum signature. Kind regards, Alban |
