7.4 M2 Driver issues with Surface (or Windows in general....)
 

I have a few microsoft surface Pros deployed in my environment using Toshiba DynaDock U3.0s that have never had any problems in the past. They are all using Driver version 7.2 or 7.3 without any issues.

So we just got a batch of Surface 2 Pros with Windows 8.1 and I see that I need Driver version 7.4 M2 for Windows 8.1. So I install that and I notice the the ethernet driver keeps randomly removing and installing itself sporadically. It will work fine for a while then remove itself.

At first i thought it was a faulty dock, so i swapped the docks and it kept happening. Reinstalled the drivers and same results. Installed the drivers on another surface 2 and same results.

Then i installed the 7.4 M2 drivers on a Windows 8 machine and had the same results.

There is an apparent issue with the 7.4 M2 driver when using a Toshiba DynaDock U3.0 PA3972U-1PRP

Anyone else have this issue? I saw 1 other thread that appears to be similar on a quick glance.

I can attach the log files minus the network log if that will still help. from what i see its just an echo of netstat and ipconfig anyway.
