Dell D6000 Universal Dock loses video

Hi Friends,

I have a brand new Dell D6000 universal dock I purchased to support 3 computers:

1) 2016 Dell XPS 13 with Win 10 And USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port
2) 2016 HP x360 with Win 10 and Non-Thunderbolt USB-C/USB 3 port
3) 2015 MacBook Pro with Catalina MacOS and USB 3 port

I have a single Dell display connected to D6000 via HDMI cable. External monitor resolution is 1080p.

D6000 has the latest firmware AO3 and all computers have the latest displaylink Drivers.

The annoying problem I encountered is the D6000 loses video when I switch computers. The only way to reacquire video on the external monitor is to cycle power to the D6000.

Is this a known issue with a solution, or is it perhaps indicative of a manufacturing defect?

Your thoughts/ advice are appreciated.

Ditto!

I also have this same issue, HELP!

One of my users with a Latitude 5420 started experiencing this issue last week, as did I on my XPS 13 9310.

Same Issue with the Dell D6000

I have a two monitor setup (both Dell) and my MacBook Air (M1). Suddenly I cannot connect the displays anymore.

Same issue on MacBook Pro 13" M1

I recently got D6000 to use two external monitors with the MacBook Pro 13" M1 (MacOS 11.3.1).

When the D6000 was on for a while, but the Mac was not connected, and I connected the Mac again, only one of two monitors goes on. I think it is the one natively connected to the Mac. The DisplayLink Manager app (1.3) shows that no monitors are connected. The display section in the MacOS settings still shows all three (with the MacBook internal display included) monitors as connected, but there is still no video on the second one. The status LED on D6000 is orange. Disconnecting and connecting the monitor does not help. A power cycle of D6000 helps. I prefer not doing this all the time since my TimeMachine HDD is also connected and the connection drops on a power cycle...

Just one hour ago I downloaded the latest firmware and tried to flash it from a Windows notebook. It turned out that the pre-installed firmware is current. So I do not know what else to do...

The problem is 100% reproducible. Please fix this bug!
