Dell D6000 and DisplayPort stuck at 640x480
Hi,
So I am using a D6000 over USB-C, I have a HMI screen attached which works. When I use DisplayPort the resolution is stuck at 640x480, no way to change it in Display Properties, the field is greyed out. Tried the Dell software, and the Beta software from this website, with the same results. Tried to reboot and the other display port output. It appears the display is detected but is known! Any ideas. Thanks |
Hello,
There is probably issues reading the display identification (EDID). Like for all other posts, we would need the logs, as described in my forum signature to know if that is actually what is going on, or not. Alternatively, swap the DP cable. Regards, Alban |
so many people with same problem
there are so many people with the same and there seems to be no response from the appart asking for the log files .
better response from displaylink would be good. I have provided my files in one of the other threads .lets see if there is any response |
Hi,
If the issue is not video cable related then it could well be fixed in the Alpha of our 9.2 release available here: DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows 9.2 Alpha 13 Jun 2019 https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/windows Please do try this and let us know how you get on. James |
