No signal on DisplayPorts

Hi,
I've got the following setup:

MacBook Pro 2017
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
Acer Predator xb271hk Monitor
Latest DisplayLink software @ 85514
Dell D6000 Universal Dock

When connecting the monitor via HDMI, it worked but was limited to 30hz. I tried switching both the monitor mode and cord to the DIsplayPort. When connected to the DP, the monitor doesn't appear in the Preferences pane, and the monitor itself shows no signal.

I verified the monitor working over the DisplayPort with the same cord to a different machine, tried both DisplayPorts, uninstalled/reinstalled software, cycled power on all devices: all to no avail. Unfortunately: this monitor has an HDMI 1.4 port, so I'm forced to use the DisplayPort if I want 4k@60hz.

Is there anything else to try, or this this incompatible hardware?

HI,

It should be compatible.
Can you please send us the log collected while the monitor us connected through DisplayPort?
Please follow the instructions in http://support.displaylink.com/knowl...rticles/755301

Best regards,
Carlo
