Slow internet download with 7.7
 

I'm running Win8.1 on a Dell Inspiron 17R and installed the latest 7.7 beta and noticed the internet download speeds are around 12Mbps, upload speeds are about 28Mbps. I can take the ethernet cable out of the dock and plug in direct to computer and get download speed of 60Mbps. What should I expect for download speeds. The dock is advertised as having gigabit ethernet but 12Mbps is far from that.

Yes, it is 12 Megabits per second, using speedtest.net. With the dock I get 12, then unplug and use the wireless router and get 60!

I'll try stopping the manager and see what happens, if I have any more issues I guess I'll post on the main forum page.

If you stop the DisplayLink Manager service does the speed improve? I take it that is 12Megabits, not Megabytes? It should be able to match your internal network speed.
