Windows 8 RTM Reader App
 

When I install DisplayLink v7.0 (dated 07 Sep 2012), the preinstalled PDF Reader Metro App stops to work. Reader shows the splash screen, then goes dark and closes. All other Metro Apps I tried seem to work, but load noticeably longer. When I go back to the last System Recovery Point (minutes before v7.0 install), everything works fine again. The issue occurs even when no external display is connected.

I am running Windows 8 Enterprise RTM (build 9200) x64, on a Sony VGN-TT21 (Intel Mobile 4 Chipset) with Microsoft drivers.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the new Windows 8 RTM features were revealed in leaked screenshots in early August, and the new Bing app did show up in that leak.
