MacOs session closed
 

Hi All,

I have the MacBook Pro 13" M1 (Dec 2021, MacOs BigSur 11.0.1), and I'm using it with 2 external displays (thanks displaylink!) and regularly the macos session is just closed: sometimes even when I'm using the laptop on my knees (no external display plugged)...

The setup I'm using is the following (based on videos describing it on youtube):

MacBookPro ---usb-c/usb-c---> CalDigit TS3+ <---usb--Startech Double displayport adapter
Monitor 1 is plugged to Startech adapter using DVI/Displayport cable,
Monitor 2 is plugged to Startech adtapter HDMI/Displayport cable.

this configuration allows me to extend the macos desktop on the 3 screens (2 external and 1 internal). Screen resolution is limited to 1920*1080 on external screens (screen specifications).

Any idea on how to avoid unexpected session closing ??




Additional information: I also use the setup plugged on a Windows laptop provided by my customer, and the startech is not compatible --> I have to plug additional cable from screens to TS3+ to get the screens recognized by Windows (no admin rights).

When I forget to remove those cables (screens to TS3+) and I plug the macbook pro on TS3+ it crashes.
