Video Freezes on Samsung U70

Hello Displaylink Forum.

I am writing here in hope if getting knowledge of how to fix a little problem I have with my new Samsung U70 monitor.

The problem is VIDEO! Whenever i play video on the monitor the pictures freezes but I still get the sound from the video...

What is most strange is, when I click a menu in my video player, the video plays just fine, it's like when the monitor is "idle" the video freezes...

Its soo strange !

I guess it has nothing to do with the USB interface not being fast enough for video, since the video plays when I just open something on the video player while playing...

I am using Windows 7 64-bit and the Samsung U70 is my 3rd monitor in the system...

Anyone out there who knows how to fix this issue?

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me a bit :)

Thanks,

Martin B.

Best bet is to attach the logs - what video title + format are you trying to play?

RealMuhko 09-08-2011 11:30 PM

Video format I have tested with: FLV, MP3, AVI and also with Slingplayer Live Streaming...

Log: Where do I find the log? Sorry I am new to this but any help is very much appreciated...

Tested with these players: VLC, WMP, Winamp, Media Player Classic...

Problem is the same when I ust the U70 monitor on another PC system....

Martin.

Can you check that you're not using Windows 7 basic mode:

I think this might be the cause.
