Conflict with VMware Workstation
 

If I move a VMware Workstation window over to the iPad and fullscreen it, after a few minutes both the laptop display and iPad flicker. The only way to recover is to exit the DisplayLink app using the home button. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop and iOS 5 on my iPad.

Does anybody know a fix or at least have the same problem?

Edit/update:
Just discovered this behavior in other apps. When it happens I hear the windows "device connected" beep, both screens flicker, and all windows on the iPad move to the laptop display.

tl;dr The iPad DisplayLink screen disconnects from the PC every few minutes. Havoc ensues.

It sounds like the network is busy and the connection between the iPad and the PC times out.

Can you try on a quiet network, or try wiring the PC to the network, so only the iPad is on the wireless network?
