New MacBook, lower resolution on monitor
 

Hi,

I've just upgraded from a late-2008 13" MacBook to a new 13" MacBook.

The monitor that I was previously using via a DisplayLink USB adapter on the 08 MacBook worked wonderfully at 1920x1080 resolution but with the new MacBook it is refusing to go any higher than 1680x1050 - adapter, cables, etc. are all the same.

I've attached logs from both, and hope you can find some insight to enable me to get to 1920x1080 with my new MacBook!
