Macbook Pro Display Link Retina Issue
 

Hi,

With my new retina display MBP I'm randomly going int screensaver mode - even in the middle of use.

I'm not the only one. When I removed the DisplayLink drivers as referenced in this post - all the issues disappeared.

Thoughts?

The problem seems due to an Apple bug on machines with the nVidia GeForce 330 or 650 when a third party driver is installed.
One possible workaround you can try is to remove the screen saver preferences. These settings are stored in the ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ folder.
Remove the file with name like “com.apple.screensaver.xxxx.plist” and set your screen saver preference again. Hope this help.
