DisplayLink Software keep popping up to install
 

Hi All-

I just got a Toshiba Dynadoc u3 and installed it without issue. I have a HDMI monitor plugged directly into my laptop and a DVI monitor going into the Dynadoc. The Dynadoc uses displaylink to handle the DVI monitor.

Everything is working fine, except...

About every 1-3 minutes the display link install software pops up. This also rearranges my browser (or whatever is open) to go to the laptop screen off the HDMI. Sometimes (but not always) I hear the usb dock/undock noise when this happens.

Ideas?

Do you have DisplayLink software installed? Otherwise Windows update will try and push you the driver each time it sees the dock connected. If so, please post the log files when it occurs:
