Artifacting, freezing, and other issues on MBP Retina
 

I tried using the 1.8 drivers on OS X 10.7.4 and experienced several issues:

1) After waking from sleep, screen redrawing issues appear. If I go to the login window or switch users, bits of windows from the other user stay on the screen. Eventually the system just hangs with the spinning beach ball.

2) Sometimes the redraw issues will appear within a single user.

3) I also get the screen saver starting while working as others have reported.

I uninstalled the drivers today and haven't seen this issue again. I have seen the issues when using automatic graphics switching or also when turning it off.
