DL adapter keeps signal after unplug
 

I don't think this is a Mac specific problem. But I only have a Mac so I cannot test it on other platforms.

My DL adapter is plugged into a externally powered USB hub. When I detach all cables from my MacBook, there is still power on this hub. As a result the DL adapter keeps outputting a signal and my display just shows what was on it last. I think this shouldn't happen.

Yesterday I was in a hurry to leave the office. So I unplugged everything, put my MacBook in my bag and rushed off. When I came back this morning my third screen was still showing my latest chat conversation...
