Extend Screen on W500 not working
I have a Thinkpad W500 and have tried a couple of different DisplayLink devices and see the same issue. The DisplayLink attached device does not properly show up as an extended screen/monitor device. When extend desktop is selected the display link device mirrors a portion of the main display (mirrors because the displaylink deivce is a lower resolution then the main display). When duplicate dsktop is selected the resolution of both the DisplayLink device and main display are changed to reflect the resolution of the DispayLink attached device and the displays are mirrored.
Has anyone managed to get extend desktop to properly work with a W500 and a DisplayLink attached device? Thanks |
This should work, and I'm pretty sure we have tested on a W500. Have you got the latest primary graphics drivers installed?
