Displaylink disabled Aero settings in Windows 7
 

Hello,
I purchased AOC portable monitor. Nice product, but I run into one unexpected issue: after displaylink is installed (software and driver), I lost Aero settings on my HP elite notebook!? Even when I unistall displaylink, I can't get those back. I tried to troubleshoot, but no luck. I got message:
1. Color depth is set too low (it's highest possible-32bit)
2. Desktop window manager is off (and it's not-shows as running)
So I tried to increase virtual memory-did not help...

I contacted AOC support and this is what they told me:
"This is current problem that DL is still working on it. No solution from DL.
DL is aware the problem, but so far has no solution yet. "

This is not really acceptable. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

(I have HP 2540p Windows 7 64bit laptop with Intel (HD) graphic)
