DisplayLink Driver Conflict?
Hello,
I have the Kensington Univeral Multi-Display Adapter and installed the DisplayLink driver. When the laptop has been idle for X amount of minutes, "turn off display" kicks in accordance to the power settings. When I interact with the laptop and the laptop display kicks back on I get the error "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered". When the computer goes to sleep based on power settings, and then I hit the power button so the laptop comes back on, the laptop display itself never does, but the computer is back up and running. I end up having to restart the computer. I have a new dell xps 15". What should my next steps be? I cant try another USB adapter as they all run on the same DisplayLink tech. Thanks! |
Can you post the log files after this occurs as this looks like a software issue :
