Trouble with connection
 

I'm trying to connect my Mac to my HDTV. I just downloaded driver 1.7 for my Mac OS X 10.5.8 and it seemed installed correctly. The HDMI-USB adapter I got lights up and my Mac flashes blue once plugged into the adapter, suggesting the connection is working fine.

But nothing happens when I switch my TV to the HDMI input selection. I've switched to both HDMI plug-ins on the TV and both USB plug-ins on the laptop, with no success.

Should some sort of log-in screen appear if the connection is working properly? Any suggestions?

Any ideas? I'll probably return the adapter otherwise; I'm not sure what else to try.

Do you get an extra display in the Mac's display option? It should have picked up the name of the TV at least.

Presumably you've installed our latest available drivers?
