Color banding when playing video
 

Hi,

I have bought a IOGEAR GUC2020DW5 DVI USB display adapter which I believe using displaylink DL-165 chip. I'm using it at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz and @32bit color (as shown in windows, though in a testing page it says it's only 24 bit).

When playing video, I can see obvious color banding, and when I pause the video or move the window to the original laptop monitor, the color banding situation disappeared.

Could you kindly advise why and any solution?

Using win 8 x64 version and latest displaylink driver. thanks
