I installed version 7.1, seem to get version 7.0
 

Because I have problems with the stability of my display (see my thread "Display not functioning properly", date 3/18/13), I downloaded version 7.1 M1 1 Feb 2013 of "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for Windows" (current version). Before installing version 7.1 I uninstalled all Displaylink drivers via "Programs and Features". However, after the installation of the new driver 7.1, the information in Device Manager shows version 7.0.41409.0 (430A) (seems to be version 7.0?). Is this correct or went something wrong?

Does anyone official reply to these messages?

Please use this article to identify the version installed.

This explains that the signed version of the drivers (eg the USB driver in this case) does not always change between releases, which is why is shows a different version number.

I installed driver 7.2 M0 3 Apr 2013. Everything seems OK now, also the correct display of the driver's version.
