SW and unit do not work
 

I just bought an AUVIO USB to HDMI adapter which came with the Display Link SW. I have a Mac OS 10.6. After much (i.e., hours) trying to get the system working I have finally given up and thought I would attempt to gain assistance from this forum. The message I get on my HDTV is that the SW is not acceptable. As such it looks like I will have to return this set since I can go no farther. Anyone out there that may have encounter the same type problem?

FYI: My TV has 4 HDMI connections and I used two different ones thinking that the connection may be defective (not the case). Nothing happens and I can not send any signal to the TV.
