Display link shows as disk drive in Device Manager
 

I am running Windows 7 64 bit Professional. When I insert the DisplayLink in the USB port, I do not get the Display UI and when I look at the Device Manager the device shows up as a Disk drive. Anyone able to tell me how to correct this.

Thanks for you quick response but I determined what my problem was. There was not a clear path for the equipment to link. Once I placed the PC in a clear line of sight, it worked without a hitch.
