Firmware flash problem

Hi,

I tried to update the firmware on my Toshiba Dynadock, but unfortunately I have used the chip manufacturers firmware instead of the Toshiba one. Seems like the dynadock is now bricked. Is there a way to re-flash the firmware - windows does not recognize the dock any more. It sometimes makes the usb sound when I plug it in, but then it ejects automatically.
Any ideas?

I guess this is the FW update of the USB hub rather than the DisplayLink chip? If so, this is a VIA hub and I'm not sure if it can be recovered. It would be best to contact Toshiba about this, as it is outside DisplayLink's technology in the dock.

Thought this would be the case, just curious to see if anyone else had done this previously and may have some experience to share.
