Dear Support,
My monitors are flickering and I am still having problems I have the latest drivers for all my video cards but Windows 8.1 is still causing me problems please advise. |
I see you are using 3 screens. Is one of the screens connected to the external video output of the laptop? If so, does the flashing stop if you disconnect this?

If I Detach the Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI / DVI Adapter for Windows, Multiple Monitors up to 2048x1152 / 1920x1200 Each (DisplayLink DL-3500 Chipset)
Then yes it stops. I have the Plugable UGA-3000 USB 3.0 to VGA / DVI / HDMI Adapter for Windows - Multiple Monitors up to 2048x1152 / 1920x1080 Each (DisplayLink DL-3100 Chipset) at home and it didn't blink all day just the device above. I purchased the Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI / DVI Adapter for Windows on May 26 of this year and only after upgrading to Windows 8 I started having problems. |
Also as a side note anything on the plugable screen get's moved over to the main screen when the monitors blink on and off.

It sounds like the device is dropping off the USB bus. Does it disappear from device manager when this happens?
If so, it sounds like the device is not getting enough power off the USB bus. Is it connected to an externally powered USB hub or directly to the PC? Wim |
It is connected to the dock.
|
Did you confirm the device is dropping off the USB bus when the screens blank?
|
I am getting my power supply and docking station replaced today under warranty to verify that that isn't part of the problem.
How would I verify the device is dropping off the USB bus when the screens blank? |
Does it disappear from device manager when the screens blank?
