Bought apple TV and it sux lag
 

Guys seriously ,
dunno what were you cursing all about .
so i bought all the stuff below just to find out if airplay over Ethernet will be faster than Display link USB.
and i was all wrong here is what i got:
- Apple TV
- 2 wires RJ45
- switch.
- HDMI to DVI for apple TV
- connected apple tv to my macbook pro via the switch (eithernet connection) and my oh my what a surprise the mouse movement on the screen was lagging much worst than on my display link USB

i will post the video later but hey anyone out there thinking of apple tv over airplay over Ethernet 100Mb connection //it's just crap!!!

i have an apple tv connected to my mac mini at home and i do not experience any lag. I also connect it to my macbook air over wireless and do not experience lag there either.
