7.4M4 vs 7.5M0
I need a clarification: on the page that contains the software for Windows (http://www.displaylink.com/support/downloads.php) you may notice that the version 7.5M0 indicates a release date (6 Dec 2013) anterior to the version 7.4M4 (18 Dec 2013).
I think that, in general, to the highest version number matches the most recent update, right? The "release notes" do not show anything special except that the one for the version 7.5M0 mentions support for the DL-3950 chip (not mentioned in the 7.4M4). The problem is which of the two versions should be considered the software / driver most updated?:confused: Thanks in advance P.S.: I have a StarTech USB3SDOCKHD docking station with DL-3900 |
Hi,
The two releases are virtually identical. However if you are using a product with the DL-41xx, I'd recommend v7.4 M4. I'm aware of your issue and am working through it. Thanks, James |
Thank you James.
