Active touch spots on non-touch monitors
I have a Dell 15Z Touchscreen Ultrabook connected to the Targus 3.0 Dock with two Dell S2440L 24" monitors. When I'm docked, I have the laptop closed and placed inside the keyboard drawer with my dock.
The display settings show my Dell monitors as #1 and #2, with my laptop display off. The problem is two Touch Gesture spots show on monitor #1 and if any user interface is under one of these spots the button/field is activated like it was touched. If I open the lid of my laptop, the laptop display remains off and the spots disappear from monitor #1 and everything works fine. Any thoughts on disabling Touch when the lid is closed would be appreciated. I have combed through the Control Panel looking for settings, but cannot find anything regarding inactivating Touch when the laptop display is closed and inactive. Thanks, YYZ |

Hi,
Another user with this issue suggested installing the cyprus track pad driver and disabling the track pad when an external USB mouse is detected. Thanks, James |
