Question about proper undocking procedure

Hi, I wanted to see if there was a proper way to undock or unplug your laptop from the USB 3 docking station? I am running Win 7 x64 and DisplayLink Manager Version 7.5.54609.0.

There is no need to undock. You can just unplug the USB cable.

If any Mass storage devices are connected downstream of the dock, they should be ejected first to prevent data corruption.
