Unable to install drivers

Hi all,
I have a Lenovo X1 laptop, with a Lenovo USB 2.0 port replicator (VDK8736), with keyboard, mouse and screen (VGA) connected. It has worked just fine until today. All of a sudden the screen went black, and it wasn't recognized by the system anymore. I uninstalled DisplayLink drivers, rebooted, and tried to re-install them. But I couldn't. When I run the installer, it gets stuck at "Preparing to install" (see the screenshot attached). I've also attached all the log files. All help is appreciated. Thanks Paolo |
Solved
Problem solved, by performing a clean boot and then installing the driver.
