Pink Shadow
 

I have Windows 7, and the most current version of DisplayLink 7.7.57957.0. On text, boxes and shapes there is a pink shadow applied. I have switched monitors resulting in the same issue. Both monitors without DisplayLink look great. Is there a resolution or do I return the adapter?

That does indeed sound like a hardware issue; I'd recommend returning the device for a replacement.
