Mouse issues with VMs
I am running VMWare Workstation 10 on a Windows 8.1 host in which I have a Display Link USB 3.0 docking station attached (e.g. DL drivers are NOT installed on the VMs, ONLY the host). When I open a VM displayed on a monitor running the DL drivers and left mouse click an object it does not select what the mouse is hovered over but instead does a left mouse click drag offset of approximately 20 pixels to the left and 10 pixels up. If I do not move the mouse after the initial left mouse click it will behave as expected and simply select the object it is hovered over. If i move the VM to a display that is not driven by a DL driver the mouse does not demonstrate this issue so appears to be associated with the displaylink driver.
I am running the latest DL drivers verstion 7.7 M2. Anyone else have this issue? How do I solve? |
