External Hard Drive Not Recognized

Lenovo USB 3.0 dock on Win 8.1, WD External Hard Drive works perfect when I plug directly into Laptop. When I plug into USB 3.0 dock, nothing happens. The OS does not recognize that I plugged anything in. All other USB items plugged into dock work fine. Any thoughts? Thanks

I'd suggest installing the USB hub firmware update for your dock:
