Dell Latitude 7350 and DisplayLink D3000
I recently purchased the Dell Latitude 7350. I wanted to be able to support extend monitor mode operation, so I purchased the Dell DisplayLink D3000, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Docking Station. The Latitude 7350 is running Windows 8.1. I have connected the docking station via the DVI port to an HP x20LED monitor. I get a picture but it is in freeze mode. The control panel on the Latitude 7350 claims it is unable to support "Auto-rotation is not supported for multiple display". Is this a software and/or hardware limitation of the Dell computer? Help!!

Hi
Auto-rotation for multiple monitors is to my knowledge always disabled regardless of the notebook/tablet in use. To clarify are you getting frozen output on your dock attached monitor just by plugging it in? Or do you have to do something to the notebook to get this? Thanks, James |
Video Frozen on external display
Running into the same problem one of our Dell Latitude 7350s
Heres the setup; Targus ACP70USZ Dock Video, Audio, & Ethernet Software for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 32/64 (v.7.7M4) – February 2015 Latitude 7350 Setup Operating System: Windows 8.1 64x Drivers: Dell Latitude 7350 System BIOS Version A05,A05 Intel HD, HD 4200/4400/4600/5000/5100/5200/5300/5500 Version 10.18.10.3960,A02 Realtek I2S Audio Codec Driver Version 6.3.9600.116,A04 Intel Chipset Device Software Driver Version 10.0.20,A01 Intel Management Engine Components Installer Version 10.0.28.1006,A01 All other dock usb devices work properly, however the video projects on the external display but is a solid image and never updates. Its frozen. Performing any undocking or redocking does nothing to resolve the issue. Any ideas? |
