Frequent disconnects and occasional blanking of the screen

2 Attachment(s)
Hi

I suffer from frequent disconnects and reconnects (4-5 times a day) also at least once a day my screen being powered by the adapter will display a single colour across the whole of the screen. When it does this the only resolution is to pull the usb cable out and then put it back again.

Currently I am running using a powered USB 3 hub but previously I have run from both the usb2 and usb3 sockets on my laptop with the same behavior.

I have attached two sets of debug files generated from the tool.

Any and all help greatfully received as this is my work machine and its somewhat disrupting when it happens.

Thanks

Ben

Hi,

Can you install the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver?

You can find it here:

Thanks,
James

I am trying this but I have had a new unit from the supplier and it seems to have cured the reconnect and disconnect but I know get random interference type lines on the picture.

I have still had two instance of a single solid colour being displayed on the screen, when this happens on the device the led is solid green but the computer can no longer see it.

Also I have been getting these problems with the device plugged into a usb 2 port.

Hi,

Do you have another video cable you can try?

Also could you try a different input on your monitor (if possible)?

Thanks,
James

Hi

It's my work laptop so will give it a try next week and see what happens.

At the moment it seems to not be liking the new usb drivers.

Ben
