DisplayLink Issues on Startup
 

What is the best way to attach my dock? It's a Targus ACP71 and when I have it attached before starting my HP laptop, I don't usually have a problem except that the attached monitor will blink off and back on 2 or 3 times after startup. Today, I waited until my laptop booted and them plugged in the dock and at first all seemed OK, but then the attached monitor blinked 2 or 3 times, and then froze. To correct this behavior, I had to reboot both the laptop and the Targus dock. The DisplayLink software I'm using is 7.4 M2. (Windows update has never offered a more current version of DisplayLink).

Can you install the latest DisplayLink software from here?

The latest is 7.7 M3.
