My Asus screen just stays black
 

Hi,
I just bought an Asus Screen MB169B+
I installed the latest version of the needed Software.
The screen do not want to start - it just stays black. When I make connection with my MacBook Pro (all updated !!) - I can just see a little orange lamp on the ON/OFF Button - but really nothing is moving!!
Connection is there - but no screen !

First thing I'd try to exclude power issues, by far the most common with this kind of product. First thing to try is connecting the monitor to a self powered hub.
